Co, New York"
Condition: Excellent

Description: Here is a stunning and extremely rare Art deco Schneider
glass vase encased in a wrought iron armature. The heavy wrought iron
work on this vase is much more typical of the Daum work than Schneider,
which is usually much thinner. The subtle color of the vase, pink
gradually fading to clear by rim, is simply splendid. The wrought iron
armature was adorned of a series of berries and the foot of was given a
Martele finish. A piece with classic elegance for the advanced
collector.

CA1049 - Le Verre Francais, Schneider
c. 1922-1925
H: 12." x D: 13.5";
Metric system: H: 30.5 cm. x D: 34.25
cm.
Signature: "Le Verre Francais"
Condition: Excellent
Price: $6,400.00
Description: Another quite scarce object, this Art Deco Le Verre
Francais coupe produced by the Schneider company is quite gorgeous. One
almost never encounter Le Verre Francais bowls on applied foot and stem
(which was normally reserved for the signed Schneider line). This coupe
is a spectacle and will be the highlight of any tables or collection as
one will not have many if any of this type of coupe. The pattern name is
"Marrons" (chestnuts) and has four different colors. The foot and stem
was applied while the vessel was still hot. A coupe of almost similar
shape (though not as pleasing in my opinion because decor cannot be seen
very well) can be seen on page 106 of the Maier's book on Schneider/LVF.

Description: This is simply fabulous! A great and quite rare Art Deco
press molded black vase with Lions and Lionesses frieze made of black
glass (actually deep purple as black glass does not exist but so thick
that one cannot see it). The vase was adorned of a blue patina which
makes the big cats just stand out spectacularly. If one likes Art Deco,
one will not find anymore Deco than that. This lions/lionesses vase is
quite rare in black, having been usually produced in milky white glass.
This vase will stand out anywhere you place it.

Description: This is not a very colorful coupe bijoux but what it lacks
in color is made up by its more than classic elegance. The coupe bijoux
with its applied foot, knob and stem is of clear taupe color. Just a
look at the detailed pictures and I am sure you will fall in love with
it. A classic which will be a good addition to any collection.
